The paper which supplies us with
news from one part of the country to other is called a newspaper. It is very
popular thing today. The newspaper was first introduced in china. Now there are
newspapers all over the world. The samachar darpan was the first Bengali
newspaper in our country.
There are many kinds of
newspapers such as-daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly. But the common
people read the daily papers. In our Bangladesh Bangladesh
A newspaper is a store house of
knowledge. It helps spread of learning among the common people. It educates
lepeople in political matters. Lawyers , politicians and traders cannot do without newspapers. It
criticises the government policy and other matters also. The news of the games,
sports and business and the speeches of great leaders are informed through
newspapers.
But newspaper is not free form defect.
It supplies us with false news too. It is very dangerous. It cam mislead
people.
Inspite of all these grievances
we should read newspapers regularly to widen widen our thoughts by collection
literary wisdom. Of course newspapers also should be free of party feeling.
