 Tea of Bangladesh 

Tea is a kind of drink. It is very popular. It is popular at all places and among all classes of people. Tea leaf or tea dust is the main ingredient in preparing tea leaves of tea plants while tea-dust is the dust of dry tea leaves. Where grown tea plants were first grown in china. It was brought into our country by the British people. It grows in hilly places, visited by sufficient rain water. Besides china, now-a-days, tea grows in plenty in Bangladesh, India, java, Japan and sree lanka. Method of production production of tea involves a great deal of labour, cost and care. At first seeds are sown in a nursery. Then seedlings are taken from the nursery and transplanted in tea gardens. Tea gardens are laid out on the slopes of hills where water does not stand. Grown up plants are pruned in order to prevent further growth and make them leafy and bushy. Leaves are then plucked form the garden. They are processed and made into what is called tea leaves are put into packets and sent to market for sale or made ready for export. How prepared tea leaf or tea dust is put into boiling water for preparing tea. Thus a sort of liquor is produced. The leaf or the dust is then separated from the liquor by means of a strainer and the liquor is mixed with milk and sugar. This is the ready tea which has a nice flavour. This drink is also prepared with lemon juice instead of milk. Merits and demerits tea stimulates our body and refreshes our mind. In tea, it brings energy and liveliness to our body and digestion. So the habit of taking tea should be kept under control. Conclusion tea is one of our cash crops. We earn a remarkable amount of foreign currency by exporting tea. So measures should be taken to improve and advance the cultivation of tea.
