Sundarbans



Sundarbans is the largest block so tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world. The forest covers 10000sp.km. of which about 6000 are in Bangladesh. The Sundarans is intersected by a complex of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests. There are 400 Royal Bangal Tiger live here. There are many Birds, Spitted deer, Cordials, Snakes, Monkeys, Jungle fowls, Wild boars, Lizards and Fishes live here. Sundari, Goran, Gawya, Poshur are its main trees. There are many people dependent on Sundarbans.
