Seasons of Bangladesh:
There are six seasons in Bangladesh. They are-
[a]The Summer:
Summer is the season of scorching sun. The heat of the sun in this season is sometimes so great that it becomes difficult to work even. Schools and colleges remain closed for sometimes during this season. Nature looks lifeless. Ponds and tanks dry up and many villagers suffer much from epidemic. But sumer has its boons also. Mangoes, jack-fruits of Bangladesh ripen in this season.

Then comes the rainy season. It stays in Bangladesh during the months of Ashara
and shrabana, cloudy skies, wet muddy and swanpy earth swelled-up tanks and
ponds are the familiar sights of this season during the rains the rivers vecome
full and sometimes overflow the vanks. Many billages go under flood water and
many billages look like small islands. Boats become the chief means of
communication in this season. Bamboo bridges are made to connect one place with
another. Paddy plants grow up and cultibators
work hard in the epidemic form towards the end of this season.
[c] the autumn ;
the cloudy sky clears up at the advent of the autuma which occupies the months
of bhsdra and aswina. Gute, the
principal cash crop of Bangladesh
, becomes abailable in the market. Harbesting of crops begin soon. The sight of
the golden paddy in fields creates for the peasants many happy dreams.
Innumerable flowers make the country side flowery.
[d] the late Autumn ; the autumn rolls into
the late autumn or hemanta. It is the season of dews. The peasants are busy with their harbests. The
atmosphere becomes slight cold and one feels lively and happy .
[e] winter; winter comes with its fog and cold life in
nature seems dull. Trees turn grey and shed their leaves. Men shiver with cold.
The sun decomes delightful. The sky becomes clear and blue. Poor people suffer
much from cold. Begetables are abailable in abundance. It is the season of gur
and patali which are speciat proucts of Bangladesh
.
